Central DuPage Hospital was again named one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals® by Truven Health Analytics, formerly the healthcare business of Thomson Reuters. CDH has received this recognition — considered to be the hospital industry’s highest honor — for seven out of the past eight years. In this study, Truven evaluates the performance of more than 3,000 hospitals nationwide in 10 key areas including patient safety, patient satisfaction and compliance to clinical standards of care.

Central DuPage Hospital was one of only 94 hospitals in the nation to be named as a 2014 Top Hospital by The LeapFrog Group, which is one of the most competitive hospital quality awards in the country. The Leapfrog Group examines quality, safety and efficiency to measure a hospital’s performance. This Top Hospital honor shows that CDH has consistently demonstrated excellent performance across all areas of quality and patient safety.

Nationally Ranked for Orthopaedic Care by U.S.News & World Report

Central DuPage Hospital is ranked 28th in the nation for orthopaedic care by U.S. News & World Report, and is one of only four hospitals in Illinois to earn recognition as one of the top 50 hospitals in the nation. CDH performs the highest volume of lower extremity joint replacements in Illinois.
