Cadence Health’s affiliation with Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago is deep, affording us a very large pediatric subspecialty network in the region.

Lurie Children's at Cadence Health* provides access to more than 85 pediatric specialists to deliver advanced care on the Central Dupage Hospital (CDH) campus in Winfield. These specialists work with experienced pediatric nurses and other compassionate caregivers to treat thousands of infants, children and teens each year using the latest child-specific technology, equipment and techniques in relaxed, environments designed for children and their families. Future plans call for expanding this affiliation to our Delnor campus in Geneva.

Bringing the Latest Thinking in Pediatric Care to the Western Suburbs

In addition to the specialty care made possible by our affiliation with Lurie Children’s, you’ll find a range of other pediatric services and resources at Cadence Health.

The CDH campus offers a Pediatric Emergency Department** designed specifically for the urgent care your child may need. Staffed by Lurie Children's pediatric emergency medicine specialists and Cadence Health nurses, you can feel confident with this resource close at hand. The CDH campus also features an outpatient clinic where children can receive care in more than 20 specialty areas such as cardiology and neurology - all in a comforting, child-friendly environment.

Both the CDH and Delnor campuses have advanced neonatal care units that provide specialized, 24-hour care for critically ill newborns. CDH is a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Delnor is a Level II Special Care Nursery.

* Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago at Cadence Health is a collaborative program between Cadence Health and Lurie Children’s. The physicians participating in this program are neither agents of nor employed by Cadence Health or any of its affiliates.

** Pediatric specialists staff the Pediatric Emergency Department Sunday through Saturday, noon to midnight. If your child needs emergency medical attention outside of the Pediatric Emergency Department hours, you and your child can expect dedicated, compassionate care in the general CDH Emergency Department.
